I purchased this to use on my road bike for group and single rides. The light is very easily seen, probably the best in our group, that is, until my buddy bought one as well. He replaced his Blaze 1 watt with this one. I use it every ride and power it with Duracell limited self discharge nimh cells, which need charging about every 12 hours of use on blink mode. I used this light one evening and got caught in a downpour, had to bike about 30 miles in the rain with some speed. The unit got moisture behind the lens, and in my attempt to get rid of it, I fogged and crazed the clear plastic lens. I called Plant Bike and offered to buy a new lens, but they sent me a leftover one they had from another unit, for free! Great customer service.
