I read several negative reviews at Amazon.com, containing complaints about perpetual
fuzz in the wearers toenail(s) after use. I think that most of these complaints about unusually excessive fuzz after use, must have been made by (lazy slugs) individuals, who did not bother to consider the ramifications from failing to properly wash their socks after purchase, prior to initial use.

I washed them- ALWAYS in cold water, a total of 6 times.

Three times while inside out and then three times, while right side in.

DRY- In between wash cycles.
