This vest is like ALL vests of this type that I have seen. It rubs under the arms and causes wedgies when your kiddo is actually swimming and jumping. Great float - lets my 42 lb daughter go under when she jumps, but brings her right back up. It is cute, so my daughter loves it, and the vest itself is soft to the touch. No problem with the vest beyond the rubbing under the arms.
