I wanted a beach tent to take on our trip to Hawaii and I'm glad I found the Shade Shack. We received it today and promptly set it up on the lawn. It's more spacious than I expected yet folds into a small case that will easily fit into our suitcase. When I wrote Demco about its' weight I was told it was 5 pounds. Since we'll be using it on the beach, we won't be bringing the stakes and rope -- I think this will cut out about a pound (every pound counts when you pay for luggage!).
The tent came with an instructional DVD, but we had no trouble closing the tent using the directions (with photographs) included in the package.
