I recently got this floatie for my 8 months old. He floats without any support which is great! (of course, I'm right there beside him) I tried floating him in Aqua Leisure learn to swim 123 tube and it didn't work - my son kept slouching forward and had his head in the water unless I supported him upright(which was very exhausting for me). My son is cautious and not very brave, so he hasn't tried climbing out of it. May be he will try to climb out when he's more grown up, but for the time being, kit's working great for us.
