Matches worked great. I submerged 5 of them in water for about a minute and then attempted to light them. All five lit! I like how they come packaged in the small boxes that are easy to stash in glove boxes, pockets, backpacks and the like. The only drawback that I see is that they must be struck on the box itself, but other than that they are great.
