As a track coach and a runner, I need a watch I can depend on for timing such things as relay splits and lap times. The Timex Ironman 100-lap has plenty of memory to handle nearly an entire track meet. It also has an easy to read display. The only knock I have with it is that the older model Ironman with the side-by-side arrangement of buttons for splits and stop was much easier to recall and store times. If I had started out with the current model watch, I would probably have had no problems, but I used the older model for about 12 years and had a tough time making the transition.
