This pump pumps air well. It's faster than the quad-D-cell-powered pump that came with my air mattress, and doesn't consume batteries. It is noisy, emitting a constant whine: you wouldn't want to pump up your air mattress while someone is trying to sleep in the same room. The attachments fit several air mattresses on which I've tried them, but oddly they constantly slip off of the pump. You need to hold the attachment firmly to both the pump outlet and the mattress inlet, which can be very awkward. For that reason I wouldn't recommend this pump to someone with small hands.
