Bought it for the price and high ratings. Worked great on my first use. Went on a hike that involved a short trip into caves. Loved it! It was comfortable and I kept forgetting I was wearing it. When I would turn to face someone I would blind them. Was hilarious to me and I was comforted by its ability to blind my friends. Others were using flashlights and when I would turn my headlamp off it was as if they were holding candles. Amazing how wide the beam is.
