What really irks me is that I buy sketchers sneakers because the toe area is larger in general from other brands and for some reason they've decided that the shape ups don't need wide width options. The only shape ups that have wide widths are not an option for me to wear to work since sneakers are not allowed. I'm returning them. This bottle is excellent for hiking. I use the 32 oz. which seems to be a good amount, not too much that it adds unnecessary weight, but big enough you don't have to stop for refill too often. I also have a SteriPEN Classic Handheld Water Purifier for sterilization of water and this bottle works beautifully with it as the SteriPEN requires a large neck bottle. The two of these combined make excellent hiking companions, but I must digress as this review is about the bottle.

The bottle does not retain taste and is BPA free, so if it does get heated up in a car or in your pack or in the sun while you're hiking, you won't be consuming microscopic carcinogens. Also, it is durable as it has survived much abuse thus far. Before buying this product, I had read the most helpful reviews; so I wasn't surprised to find it difficult to adjust. Apparently, you may receive your rope with the loose metal pieces already crimped, making it impossible to follow the directions of popping off the cap, pulling the rope, cutting it, etc. You're going to need to force in one side of the bearing track and pry out the other side and remove it to adjust the rope.

The reason why I only only rated this rope 3/5 is really because of its performance. The price cancels out the adjustment issue, so I'm not even considering that. If you're looking for a REAL SPEED ROPE that can let you repeatedly do double unders, or even some TRIPLE UNDERS this is NOT for you. The rope is simiply too light. I'm 6 feet tall, so I tried it at its full 10-ft length, and shortened it twice until I reached the "proper" length (both feet planted together on the rope until the handles pull up to somewhere between your armpits and collar bone). Unsurprisingly, at the proper length, the rope got lighter and was even harder to perform the double under. The triple under was impossible. Try the Everlast Deluxe Speed Rope...unfortunately, you're going to need to be about 5'11" or taller to fit that rope, or make some knots down each side. And it costs about twice as much. We set up two queen sized air mattresses at either end and still had room for two camp chairs and all our baggage in the middle (wife didn't pack lightly either). It was hot and humid for most of the trip and it was extremely hot inside the tent during the day (even with all the windows open). We unhooked the rainfly on both sides and folded it up to expose the tent and it cooled down somewhat. Still it was in the high 80's and sunny most of our trip so I expected it to be warm inside. I might purchase a couple battery operated fans for the future just in case.

Overall, this tent was perfect for Me, my wife and 2yo daughter. This tent is big enough to be our family tent even if we add to our 3 person family. It worked well in the rain and setup was a breeze.
