Finally - this thing works! Keeps hot drinks hot; doesn't get tossed in the landfill; fits in my bike waterbottle cage and most drink holders; comes on backpacking and international travel trips; even looks good. Just what I was looking for.
The café cap (separate purchase) is the only downside to the system. It works great as a travel-mug style lid for drinking but as Klean Kanteen tells you, it doesn't give a leak-proof seal; also, since I need to bring the original lid along if I want to stash a hot drink in my bag, it'd be nice if there were a ring on the café lid so I could attach it to something while it's waiting to be used.
