I have used this product in multiple countries, and have found that how affective it is really depends on the place you are; with it being excellent in most places.
I had GREAT success with it in: Alaska, India, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Viet Nam
I have found that in California, it depends on the locations. Up in the Cascades, it only works so-so. Down in the Sierras, it seems to work well, like in all the other places I had traveled..
It is also only in the so-so category for southern arizona as well.
I think this all makes sense as you would expect different sub-species of mosquito to react differently to different smells.
